Cairanne has become a “Cru,” just like Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, or Crozes-Hermitage. Cru is the highest recognition for an appellation in the Rhône region.

This shows that the village has a tremendous popularity and the ambitions that go along with it.

Domaine Saint Andeol is located on a beautiful hillside overlooking Orange and the Old Town of Cairanne. The terrain is rather steep, the area mostly sunny, and the region cooled by an ever present, gentle breeze which circulates through the vineyards.
