With an exceptional terroir and six generations of “savoir-faire,” Château Labastide Haute is a family affair. Founded in 1895 and currently managed by Philippe Bernede, the impressive 230 acre estate sits in the Southwest of France with vines that average 35 years of age.

AGE OF VINES: 35 years

FARMING: Organic farming practices, reduction of chemical treatments, manual cutting of unwanted shoots, mechanical soil tillage. 

SOIL: Gravel and clay-limestone silicas

FERMENTATION: Thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, 15-20 days, 28°C

AGING: Aged in 30-year-old wood for 8-10 months
