

Located near Sauveterre de Guyenne, the Château Pombrède has been in the same family for four generations. The owner, Rémi Garuz, is farming the vines his grandfather planted in 1920. The name Pombrède originates from the location of the vineyard. Pombrède is the town of St Brice near Sauveterre de Guyenne.

FARMING: Manual disbudding, mowing in between the rows, use of less chemicals according to the growth and weather of the vines.

FERMENTATION: Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature using selected yeasts, with 2 to 3 weeks on skins to provide a round and supple wine.
AGING: Aging in stainless-steel and concrete tanks
